Minister of Tourism, Enrique Meyer, attended the launch of "Andean footprint" in the Parque Nacional Los Alerces, whose main objective to value the natural and cultural resources of the western Andes through promoting the activity of hiking sustentable.Este tourism project lets unite, using footpaths, a total of 560 miles, from Lake Alumine (Neuquén) to the area in Trevelín Baguilt (Chubut).
Meyer said during the ceremony that "the Footprint project launch took place in Los Andes Alerces years because that's where work began in walking" and said it is conducting a worldwide trend of these activities.
Besides Meyer were the Secretary of Tourism Development Office, Valeria Pellizza, the mayor of Esquel, Williams and Mayor Rafael National Park Alerces, Ricardo Pereyra.
