Luckily Octavio Gamboa did not live to know that a vandal was going to snatch one of his arms. But he is not the sole host of the Poets Park has been attacked. A Jorge Isaacs and robbed Carlos Villafañe poles and Ricardo Nieto curtailed their fingers and an ear. Uan Is not this sad example of the apathy with which some seek Cali monuments that make your city friendly? ---

I see with astonishment that the topic today in Cali, in poetic terms, is the bad health in the bureaucracy that has its bards 'eternal'. Starved health of those poets who gave such luster to the poor bourgeoisie of the city, it decided to keep planting cane and enslaving before modernized spiritually. It's a shame, as I read in the Little Newspaper in Colombia, ride loose much of a problem in cities, and that a concern than the fingers and arms of those poets themselves crippled in loose lines, spendthrifts.

I just got the book 'Cali-rays' , so many of you gave Kemp. I think the editing and translation are the best, but one thing is clear: those poets, 'maimed of terror' , managed to build a literature to fit the bourgeois peasantry of the Cauca Valley. And it's a shame that, although there are some good verses that compilers are engaged in reviewing, Valle del Cauca - people who appreciate, though not fined for their docility and idolatry to the Reina Rumba but his endurance - is persist in despising literary work like this book exposes. And good health, with fingers, phalanges and arms full of literature to come.
Thank you ... Guillermo Cobo
Cerón.
